Rv Mattresses Reviews

After hours of browsing and reading comments I finally decided to go with this foam topper. Being on the heavy side I was worried I'd just sink through. But I can't be anymore happier! It arrived quickly and it quickly took it's shape after opening it. It did have a slight odor to it but nothing to overpowering. The odor was gone completely after a day or two. I slept on it the same day and I just can't get over how well it's made and durable it is! I slept like a baby, I did not want to wake up. I was so impressed with it, I had to show everyone that came over to lay on my bed. Call me crazy but I just love it so much If anything happened to it or years down the line I needed another one I'd definitely buy it again.
I am naturally a skeptic about reviews, particularly when I see too many good or bad reviews posted close together with ambiguous names/titles attached. This one is real. I have a 20 year old Stearns and Foster mattress. I am likely in need of an upgrade but want to invest some time, energy, and money into a nice upgrade. In the interim, I wanted an inexpensive fix. Found it. For the first time in I can’t say how many years, I was able to sleep flat on my back without moving all night. Foam is great. It really helps reduce movement from other person in bed. Description and positive reviews are on point as far as my experience goes. Really, SO inexpensive @$50, how could one go wrong? You can’t. I also added a $50 “Home Sweet Home” pillow topper (sans bugs, stains, and hair per other reviews) and the “Sleep Restoration” gel pillows (sans mold per some reviews). Look past some of that negativity and take a risk on some great deals and great sleep.
This started out completely fluffy and comfortable. We Let it expand per directions. Within 4-5 days sleeping on it husband and I could tell something was off. Just by looking you can see that the bed is sunken down. No we are not obese. It doesn’t “bounce back” like it’s supposed to. It’s like sleeping on lumpy sections of rock. I’ve literally woke up numb with such a backache I had to lay in the couch. So unforgiving, unfortunately we got rid of our other mattress so we are stuck til we buy another new one. This won’t even work as a guest room mattress. It’s awful. I guess it’s my fault for thinking a bed of this price would actually be worth owning. I emailed customer service and NEVER received a response. Over it !!

What is the difference between an RV mattress and a regular mattress?

Consider shape, thickness, size, and weight vis-a-vis a camper’s fit. Aside from size and length, regular mattresses are quite heavier adding more burden to your rig. RV mattresses are lighter and more versatile. They are also designed to be more flexible allowing ease of adapting to such limited space

They also sometimes have curved edges or other custom shapes to help them fit into the space. And in some rigs, mattresses have to be thin and flexible enough to bend when the bedroom slide-out comes in. Of course, none of that means you can‘t put a standard mattress in your RV

For instance, a standard Queen mattress is 60” x 80” while an RV Queen is the same width but is a bit shorter at 60” x 75”. Likewise, a King mattress is 76” x 80” whereas an RV King mattress is a little narrower at 72” x 80”.

Yes, you can! As long as you go for a larger rig such as a Class A motorhome, a large Class C motorhome or a 5th wheel trailer. Most manufacturers of these larger RVs offer floorplans with King-sized beds. Keep in mind that RV mattresses come in different sizes than residential mattresses
